| Bestra is a complete supplier of machinery and mechanical components to industry and offshore. The company has its administration, and sales and project follow up in Norway. Manufacturing, assembly, machining and hydraulic and mechanical assembly is carried out in Estonia. | ||
The company was founded by Nils Vidar Stray and Jim Berentsen in 2004, and it had a turnover of approximately 2 million kroner during the first year. Since then, the company has experienced an annual increase in turnover and it is now closer to 65 billion.
Bestra has developed from being a supplier of components to becoming largely a supplier of commissioned machinery. The company is comprised of expert staff and all manufacturing is carried out by us. This is extremely cost efficient and gives us a significant advantage when it comes to competition. Training and further development of our own staff also ensures that quality and productivity improves continuously. The products that we deliver are top standard internationally. Machinery and equipment manufactured by Bestra are shipped directly to the customer in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, China, Singapore, the USA or other destinations in the world.
